Weather Policies

WE PLAY RAIN, SHINE OR SNOW!

• If you do not hear from us before your session, that means WE ARE PLAYING!


• Any decision to cancel sessions due to foul weather will be made on the field at the time of the game. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather, we do not cancel sessions ahead of time.


• On the off-chance that sessions must be cancelled ahead of time (ex. venue closure), we will always alert participants as soon as we find out.

For OUTDOOR PROGRAMS, in the event of:

1. RAIN: We play through rain! Bring a change of clothes or warm playing clothes.


2. SEVERE RAIN: We play! If conditions are determined to be unsafe at the time of the session, coaches may make the decision to cancel at the field, at the time of the game.


3. SUN/HEAT:Game on! Coaches will be awarding extra water breaks. Bring lots of cold water, sunscreen, and a hat. Parents may wish to bring umbrellas for themselves.


4. LIGHTNING/THUNDER: Decisions to cancel/pause sessions due to thunder or lightning are made on the field at the time of the session. In this case, we follow the "30/30 Rule": if the time between lightning flashes and thunder sounds is less than 30 seconds, we pause for 30 minutes.

For INDOOR PROGRAMS, if the venue is open, we play!

1. SNOW: If venues remain open, we play. We will always alert parents in case of venue closures.

Please note, we do not reschedule, refund, or credit games or sessions due to foul weather.
